Annotation and Fact-Checking Guide
To ensure the accuracy of stories published in The Science Writer, writers will provide an annotated copy of their piece using the track changes and comment features. The writer is primarily responsible for checking the accuracy of their facts, and the copy editors/fact checkers will double check a limited list of items. Authors may wish to submit photographs, illustrations, infographics, brief videos, or sound clips to accompany their stories. We will also consider some stand-alone multimedia projects.
